I can see how the quilt really works in either room, but for me, I think I like the quilt on the gold... it seems to make the black quite bold and the pattern on the quilt seems to 'pop'. Nancy
i wouldn't do black on yellow i think that is too startling the kill a fella kind why we use black on yellow for warning signs they "pop" out of the woods to your eyes. yield - ice on the bridge - men at work ;o
i'd do the blue.
got a question why isn't it for the foot of a bed? or the back of a rocker?
Blue is my favorite color so everything I do is blue, but I think that quilt would look just beautiful against the beautiful harvest gold wall.It just says"Come on in"!

Thanks, Nancy...'pop' was also the word I was going to use.
I think the contrast is better on the yellow/gold wall, Sue. Yep, it has a POP factor!
You've been a busy poster today! Plus just being plain busy! Good for you!
Tack it up overnight in the blue room and see how it makes you feel, seeing it morning and night.
hmmmm...It would be lovely on either wall hon, I am partail to the sunset gold. :)
I like the gold wall, it makes both wall hanging and wall color seem "warmer" to each other.
The blue box quilt, if it can be repaired, would work on the blue wall...loverly!
Have fun with your "New" house. It always seems like that when we paint it, doesn't it?

I feel like the tickling blue room could use a bit of sunshine. The gorgeous gold room already has so much. Though I agree, it's a tough decision.
One night of tacked up done....will try the other room for the weekend...

I love the gold. But, I tend to like stark contrast! It is beautiful!
