These pics really remind me of Andrew Wyeth, same old farmhouse with the light shining thru, how'd you force the forcythia?
It's easy. Snip the branches and put them in a vase with warm water. It'll bloom within a few days.

Forsythia is pure joy.There is not an ounce, not a glimmer of sadness in forsythia. Pure, undiluted, untouched joy.
